When you hear or read the words “Curvalicious Her” what is the first thing that comes to mind? Curves, Delicious, or women? Perhaps, all of the above. Well if if any of these things crosses your mind, than my frind you are on right track. Meet the Curvalicious Dolls from Curvalicious Her Modeling Agency.

Founded in March of 2016, Curvalicious Her is a network of women who support and encourage self-acceptance and positive body image. They offer a wide range of services to cater to various markets and demographics in the beauty and fashion industry. Their roster includes everything from models, to makeup artists, stylists, designers, young professionals, entrepreneurs, mothers and beyond. “We embody all aspects womanhood,” said CEO Brittney Williams.

“Curvalicious Her was inspired by my experience as a plus-sized model. Over the course of 6 years, I only got booked for a few gigs. I wanted to create a more well-rounded platform to give women of all shapes and sizes the opportunity of national exposure,” said Williams.

And that she did! Since launching in March of 2016, Brittney has stayed true to her mission by curating and producing fashion and lifestyle events surrounded around body positivity, confidence, and self-love. Hosting a series of photoshoots- particularly the Curvalicious Dolls Calendar, the dolls are never not working. Whether it be a gig or preparation for another fashion show or photoshoot opportunity, the Curvalicious Dolls spend their time with this agency productively, grasping experience in different avenues of fashion as well as professional training and coaching to help them as they matriculate through their careers.

Though the name Curvalicious may spark thoughts of curves and plus-size models, this brand is actually not exclusive to just this specific body type. In fact, since launching, they have since expanded their portfolio of models to cater to models of all shapes, shades, cultures, and sizes.

“In the beginning it was just curvy/plus-sized women. Now I've expanded into all markets. We have a very diverse catalogue of models now” said Williams.

With so much success in such a short period of time, it’s no wonder Brittney took to wanting to commemorate their second year anniversary this year. On Sunday March 24, 2019- Curvalicious Her celebrated their Second Year in business at Strike10 in Gulfstream Casino of Hallendale, FL.

The event included diverse members of the team as well all of the featured calendar models, photographers, and affiliates to the organization. The atmosphere was full of love and great vibes. It was a very family oriented atmosphere, where you felt right at home as soon as you stepped foot into their very litt section of the bowling alley.

In my interviews with the dolls for RedL!ghTv, I asked them What was their favorite part of being a part of Curvalicious Her and the responses were pretty consistent amongst the models: “Its Like a sisterhood.” And living in a day and age where body shaming and tearing women down is popular opinion, we can sure use more agencies and organiztions like these that spread love, confidence, and untity amongst diverse sisters.

Curvalicious Her is definitey a brand on the rise based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL that you should keep your eyes peeled for. When I asked CEO Brittney Williams, what can we look forward to from the Curve Dolls in 2019, she had this to say:

“Lets just say this will be our curvest season yet! There will be lots of amazing content, curve doll meet and greets, castings for our Calendar, and a Fashion show in July.”
